Apart from my children's books, I write books for adults, mostly self-help. I also edit and proofread. I am writing a book called the Baby's Father handbook. It is an advice book and a state to state government handbook on resources for both "baby father's and baby mother's" I'm really excited about it. It's my first release slated for early next year. Most of the books I write are children's books.  These books are for children that have really hard decisions to make. The topics stem from abuse and neglect to explaining adoption. I think that it is really important for parents, teachers and children to be able to communicate such hard topics. Procrastination is a dangerous thing.  I have been the owner of Miss Birdie's Books for over ten years. Finished most of the books I offer for over five years. After all this time, I picked now to make my dream to own and operate a publishing company real. Maybe I wasn't ready before, but sometimes I think about all of the time I wasted NOT living up to my full potential, it makes me cringe.  Lately, I have felt a deep need to share. Thinking about the mark that I would leave if something happened to me. Leaving a legacy for my son.  Now I choose not to be selfish. I can't afford to wait anymore.
